EDM’s customer satisfaction levels reach new heights

27 October 2015

Manchester, UK. EDM, a leading global provider of training simulators to the civil aviation and defence sectors, today announced that its customer satisfaction levels have achieved even higher scores since departmental restructuring measures were introduced 12 months ago.

In 2014, EDM recruited a new Customer Services Manager as part of a broader company strategy to bring experienced professionals into a number of key departments. The new department head has implemented several new measures including providing a range of tailored support packages, hiring new experienced technical support staff, delivering faster response times and focusing on the provision of solutions via remote diagnostics.

These proactive measures, in conjunction with the full support of EDM’s engineering team, have led to an increase in the average service satisfaction score awarded to EDM by its clients. Across a range of measurements including communication, punctuality, diagnosis, professionalism and overall satisfaction, EDM has been consistently scored ‘excellent’ by its clients in 2015, up from an average rating of ‘good’ in 2014.

“We want every customer to be completely satisfied with our products and services,” said Tony Bermingham, Managing Director of EDM. “We’ve taken a number of important steps over the past year to make our post-sales support even better and are absolutely delighted to see this vital service consistently rated as excellent. We will continue to deliver further innovations and improvements to our offering to maintain our position as the premier manufacturer of crew training simulators to the civil aviation and defence industries.”
