American Airlines passes EDM’s B787 Door Trainer for Factory Acceptance Test

Following a 2-day visit to inspect their new B787 extended Door Trainer, EDM is pleased that American Airlines has approved the Factory Acceptance Test.

American is to receive delivery of its training device in March 2014 and the Ready for Training date is scheduled for April.

The Door Trainer  incorporates all of the usual features which have come to be associated with EDM’s high quality Door Trainers and the American Airlines variant includes additional features such as a row of economy seats; flight attendant seat; emergency oxygen mask deployment; passenger service unit; workable overhead bins; simulated flight-deck door and a lavatory interior mock-up.
