About EDM Aviation

EDM work together with many of the world's leading airlines to provide training equipment and support for modern Crew Resource Management (CRM).

Our reputation comes with years of aviation and engineering experience. The core of our business being the manufacture of a full range of simulated door and cabin training equipment for all aircraft types. From narrow bodied, single aisle aircraft including business and regional jets to wide bodied, twin aisle aircraft.  Our training equipment is developed using licenced data from Boeing, Airbus and new aircraft such as COMAC and Sukhoi Superjet. To date EDM is one of the only companies worldwide licenced by Boeing for B787 cabin crew training equipment.

EDM also understand the need for training equipment to meet all worldwide regulatory standards, such as EU-Ops 1 regulation part C, crew training.  For example to meet the requirement for annual certification, EDM have developed software that will allow the calibration of door forces on all of our door trainers.

We appreciate the value of using equipment to bring a greater understanding of procedures and practical training to crew and are continually looking at ways in which our equipment can enhance an operators training.

All EDM training equipment is cross-referenced against manufacturer and regulatory requirements, working with regulatory bodies to ensure compliancy.

Our range of products consists of Door trainers, Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers (CEET), Cabin Service Trainers (CST) and full size aircraft mock ups.
