The cabin emergency evacuation trainer (CEET) provides a comprehensive solution to multi-functional enhanced training, with the flexibility to be utilised for door operation, evacuation procedures, fire and smoke training, cabin communications and aircraft systems familiarisation.
The cabin fuselage is built using original Boeing aircraft data. The cabin emergency evacuation trainer incorporates one or more of our standard simulated doors and exits and the cabin interior is faithfully representative of Boeing or your airline’s specific branding. Our choice of materials are ideally suited to the demands of the practical training environment.
All of our cabin training equipment can be installed at ground level or at height to accommodate training slides.
For complete Cabin Crew training and situational awareness, an EDM CEET can be configured as a static or motion based device with a fully integrated visual and audio system, providing a multi- sensory training experience. The lesson plans offer the flexibility of auto-programmed training scenarios, fulfilling mandatory requirements or bespoke, individual instructor planning.

EDM manufactured and installed a Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer (CEET) for Europe’s largest low fare carrier, Ryanair. The B737 CEET was designed to meet the cabin crew training requirements for the airline’s new fleet of B737 NG aircraft. The Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer was installed Ryanair’s Training Centre at East Midlands Airport and was constructed from a decommissioned Ryanair B737 fuselage which was shipped from Dublin.
The B737 CEET includes a replicated Flight Deck, training slide, main passenger door and NG automatic overwing exit , it is also equipped with eight rows of passenger seats and the capability for fire and smoke training, sound simulation, all controlled via an IOS touch screen.

A more recent addition to our range of B737 CEETs, is to supply Air China with a highly complex B737-800 cabin crew training simulator, complete with motion system. The simulator together with an A330 CEET will be installed in the new Air China training academy which is currently under construction close to Beijing airport.
The new B737 CEET will comprise of economy, business and cabin attendant seating, a replicated cabin environment with operational B737 doors. Drawing on EDM's in-house experience of cabin crew line operations and training, the CEET will incorporate six baseline training scenarios, that cover essential regulatory training, with the flexibility to incorporate instructor created scenarios.

EDM supplied Continental Airlines with two B787 Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers (CEET) for use at their training centre’s in Houston, Texas and Newark, New Jersey, providing a realistic cabin environment for cabin crew to learn practical operational and emergency procedures on the world’s most advanced airliner.
Currently, EDM are one of the only companies worldwide who are licensed by Boeing to use ‘Dreamliner’ data. EDM software and design engineers generated their own engineering model from which additional elements could be developed such as a motorised software control system simulating the physical opening and closing characteristics of the door and the capbility to introduce failure features such as door jamming or other door damage that might be encountered during a real aircraft emergency.
From a cubicle within the cabin, the instructor can activate a range of operational drills and emergency scenarios on the IOS, so that cabin and flight crews can build their knowledge and capabilities in a realistic environment. Audio and visual backdrops – such as fire, smoke and water – can be introduced to add further authenticity.
