EDM to discuss civil aviation training simulators at APATS 2015

Manchester, UK. EDM, a leading global provider of training simulators to the civil aviation and defence sectors, will be exhibiting at the Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) 2015 event in Bangkok, Thailand from 15-16 September.

A team from EDM will be at the show to discuss its market-leading range of civil aviation training simulators which includes Door Trainers, Cabin Service Trainers, Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers (CEETs) and Cabin Mock-ups. EDM will also be showcasing SEPTRE, its innovative audio-visual system for CEETs that takes cabin crew training to even higher standards through the realism of the training experience it delivers with pre-programmed emergency scenarios including aborted take-off, engine-fire, gear collapse, turbulence, ditching and decompression.

APATS is the largest and longest established independent trade event in the Asia Pacific region focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of flight training operations and procedures. The theme of the eagerly anticipated 2015 conference is ‘Training Solutions’ with airline training experts discussing practical solutions to current training issues facing the industry.

In the past few years, EDM has announced major contract wins with many airlines in Asia Pacific including Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Garuda Indonesia and All Nippon Airways.
