EDM and SEPTRE at EATS 2015

Manchester, UK. EDM, a leading global provider of training simulators to the civil aviation and defence sectors, will be exhibiting SEPTRE at the European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) in Warsaw, Poland from 3-4 November 2015.

SEPTRE is the aviation industry’s most advanced real time visual system for training airline cabin crew. It encompasses an audio-visual system that can be fitted onto new or existing Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers (CEETs), providing real-time graphics at each passenger window and highly realistic audio that covers all phases of flight. The system also includes pre-programmed emergency scenarios such as aborted take-off, engine fire, gear collapse, turbulence, ditching and decompression. SEPTRE is currently in use by every major airline in China including Air China, China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines. The system was also recently acquired by Ethiopian Airlines.

EDM will be at EATS to discuss SEPTRE with delegates as well as the rest of the company’s market-leading cabin crew training products including Door Trainers, Cabin Service Trainers, Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers and Real Fire Trainers.

EATS is the leading aviation training event for airline pilots and cabin crew in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Training Best Practice’ and delegates will explore the regulatory evolution in European aviation training with input from leading experts from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
