EDM is pleased to present Air China with certificates in recognition of their successful completion of a two week training programme focused on the maintenance of Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer equipment (CEETs). The training course follows the recent design, manufacture and installation of A330 and B737 CEET’s by EDM at Air China’s Training Centre in Beijing in December 2013.

Three engineers from the airline attended the classroom based training course at EDM’s facility in Manchester – this involved interfacing with several EDM departments including projects, software, service support and electrical.

Upon their return to Beijing, the Air China engineers will become trainers themselves as they prepare to teach the airline’s graduate engineers about techniques learnt at EDM to ensure the preservation and maintenance of the two new CEETs.

Mick Bonney, EDM’s Director of Sales and New Business said,

“Our relationship with our customers does not end once we have delivered our training products. EDM provides a complete ‘cradle-to-grave’ solution with unrivalled support and training throughout. We are therefore very pleased to have facilitated Air China with a tailored training course for their new CEET training equipment and we wish to congratulate them on the successful completion.”

EDM is looking forward to providing a second training course for another team of Air China engineers in June 2014.
